On edges of the Periyar Tiger Reserve, this resort is designed with a reception area, which is connected to the main entrance through a wooden bridge. There are rooms and independent cottages made of traditional materials from Kerala. Guests can relish on the Southern flavour at the Falling Leaves, a well-laid out dining outlet with traditional Kerala wooden furniture dating back to mid 20th century. There is also a lounge area with a fire place where guests can enjoy some serenity with a drink.

Life is simple up here, yet there also seems to be an excess of everything: The straw covered cottages stand in the midst of bright green palm groves and amongst trees and plants where mangos, nutmeg and cardamom flourish
