The furniture and furnishings in the rooms are reminiscent of the erstwhile times when the Chettiars, rich South Indian traders, resided in the mansi,on. Each bedroom has an entry into a common long balcony overlooking the street. It's from here that guests get to watch day-to-day life bloom and the tops of the colorful village houses. An open air shower has also been provided in the balcony.
