WelcomHeritage Taragarh Palace 
Built in the early 1930s, this palatial hotel at Kangra Valley was once the summer resort of the royal family. The property is sprawled across 15 acres of forested land surrounded by tea gardens. There are 26 rooms and air-conditioned suites to choose from. Guests are served a multi-cuisine fare at the imperial dinning hall. Rejuvenation options include a swimming pool between April-October, badminton, carom, bridge table, horse riding, fitness centre and ayuvedic massage by a health centre. Apt for a truly relaxed holiday, the palace is replete with lush gardens and a glass pleasure pavilion. The day can be spent at the swimming pool or playing tennis. At night, you can play badminton under floodlit courts. Indoor games like Carom, Bridge and cards are also available. Short walks and day treks with a packed lunch in the tea estates around Taragarh Palace are also very popular. The hotel also offers a multi-cuisine Dining Hall for your meals.
