Cruise by the narrow canals near Cheepungal Jetty and enjoy the natural ambiance by staying in any of the houseboats, which are owned by Grandeur Holidays. These traditional houseboats called Kettuvallam are made of wood, and are designed with a lounge area, a bedroom and a kitchen. Guests are greeted with the traditional welcome drink of tender coconut, and can also enjoy the taste of Southern hospitality with traditional vegetarian cuisine, including fish preparations for the non-vegetarians. This accommodation offers a conference hall to conduct business events. Guests can enjoy a southern treat with a fixed menu, offering typical Kerala cuisine. Pure vegetarian dishes, dishes with less spice for European guest, and North-Indian delights are served to the guests. Guest can also buy fresh Prawns, Crabs or any fresh fish during their cruise from the fishermen, and the chef will prepare it for the guest according to their taste without any additional charges.
