Package Overview
 This package covers the most beautiful hill station on the Western Ghats known as Munnar.. Munnar is famous for tea estates and is the biggest tea producer in south India. Located 1600 m above the sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Govt. in south India .It also covers the destination Kumarakom and Alleppy.Kumarakom-A beautiful destination of mangroves forest, green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals.Alleppey is a tiny place located on a thin strip of land between the Arabian Sea and the Punnamada Backwaters. The place is fondly referred to as the Venice of East because of its striking similarity between the two (Alappuzha and Venice) with regards to intricate maze of backwaters, canals and bridges.And last but not the least destination Trivandrum covers Padhamanabha Swamy temple, Museum, Horse Palace and Art Gallery.

ITINERARY
Day 01 Cochin- Munnar (153 Kms ? 5 Hrs drive). After breakfast drive to Munnar, the most beautiful hill station on the Western Ghats. En route, visit tapioca and banana plantation. Munnar is famous for tea estates and is the biggest tea producer in south India. Located 1600 m above the sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Govt. in south India . Sprawling tea plantations, picturesque towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 02 Munnar After breakfast drive to Eravikulam National Park, where you can see the Nilgiri Thar (which is almost extinct from the world). Afternoon visit to Mattupetty dam and Echo Point followed by visit to local market. Overnight stay in hotel
Day 03 Munna- Kumarakom After breakfast, checkout of the hotel and drive to Kumarakom. A beautiful destination of mangroves forest, green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals, the village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. The bird sanctuary here is an ornithologist's paradise and a favourite haunt of migratory birds. The lakes here provide boating, fishing and sightseeing experiences that are truly exhilarating. Day 04 Kumarakom - Alleppey Morning after breakfast check-out and check into ?Houseboat? for a 22 hours cruise. With the Arabian Sea on the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers crisscrossing it, Alappuzha is a district of immense natural beauty. Referred to as the ?Venice of the East? this backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. Today you will cruise through the world famous backwaters of Kerala. Overnight in the boat
Day 05 Alleppey - Kovalam After breakfast depart from houseboat and drive to Kovalam. On arrival check in at Hotel. Evening at leisure .Overnight stay at hotel
Day 06 Kovalam Morning free after breakfast drive to take a city tour of Trivandrum including Padhamanabha Swamy temple, Museum, Horse Palace, Art Gallery. Evening you will be free at Kovalam Beach.
Day 07 Departure -Kovalam- Trivandrum -Departure. After breakfast transfer from hotel to the Trivandrum airport station for onward travel.
