Panjim Inn ( A Heritage Hotel)

Built in the late 1800s, this budget, heritage hotel is designed with thick clay and Lateritic stonewalls, Burmah teak beams and rafters. There are 24 unique bedrooms: 12 in the old house and 12 in the new section, facing the Rua de Ourem creek. The restaurant, serving Goan and Continental fare, is located on the first floor, overlooking the street junction, and guests are invited to try out their culinary skills in the kitchen, or suggest changes to the menu, depending on the workload.

All 24 bedrooms have unique decor, period furniture, four-poster beds with clean linen, carved Rosewood cupboards, and paintings from an in-house art gallery. Amenities on the premises include air-conditioning, a mini-fridge, cable TV, Try the local and Continental cuisine at the first floor, open-veranda restaurant, with quaint overhead lamps, and antique Rosewood furniture.
